Perishables (like flower or foods) are bursting of freshness at their peak, later that freshness and it’s shape is forever lost. This small peak in time is preserved in this porcelain lighting installation.
By dipping them in porcelain the tiniest detail is crystallized, but the original object is burnt away while baking. These qualities, the hollowness inside and the thinness of the layer of porcelain, are used to make a lighting installation. The objects are put in a bunch, like grapes it hangs from fibre optics, which also gives it it’s glow.
