Backpacksaddle and Halterbridle

A normal horse riding saddle weighs around 12 kilo’s and the shape doesn’t make it easy to transport it on your bike or public transport. Very unhandy for those teenage horse-girls.

I removed all the unnecessary parts of a standard saddle and kept only what is necessary for comfort and safety.

This light-weight treeless saddle, made of PU foam, folds into a package which is easy to transport on your back. The flaps fold in and the reigns become the shoulder-straps of the backpack. The bit and the girth can be stored away inside the saddle. The LED-lights in the stirrups become bike-lights when the saddle is folded and worn as a backpack.

The bridle is a halter-bridle. Only the bit and reigns have to be taken to the horse, because it already wears it’s halter. With easy clasps this halter changes into an simple, but perfect functioning bridle.
